Chelsea FC playmaker Cole Palmer says that despite scoring in Chelsea’s win, he is not at his best. He said this after Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League.

Palmer scored in the 21st minute off a pass from Malo Gusto; the French defender went on to score in the 45th minute to seal the win.

After dealing with injuries that has forced him to miss three months of game action, the English player says he isn’t at his best yet.

“I wouldn’t say I’m at my best yet. I’m still dealing with an injury. Hopefully it gets better and better but there’s still a bit to go. It is getting better.”

“The stuff I’ve been doing with the physios at the club. It’s just a matter of not doing too much too soon. Hopefully it gets better” Palmer said to the BBC.
