AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has increased the possibility of Antoine Semenyo’s departure from the club in the January transfer window.
Speaking after Bournemouth’s 1-1 draw with Burnley, Iraola said the possibility of Semenyo’s exit is no secret after the Ghanaian international scored in the draw.
Semenyo’s goal improved his tally for the 2025-2026 season to eight goals and three assists (11 goal contributions) in 16 league games and comes on the back of reports linking the Black Stars forward to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
He has a 65 million pounds release clause in the first 10 days in January but the price tag drops significantly should he complete the season with Bournemouth and the thought of losing Semenyo isn’t lost on Iraola.

“He-Antoine Semenyo- is a massive player for us. It is not a big secret [he could leave in January]” Iraola said to the BBC.

Drawing with Burnley means Bournemouth are winless in their last eight games.
