Giannis Antetokounmpo made big plays late to lead Milwaukee Bucks to its fifth win in seven games since his return from injury in late December.
The Bucks beat the Los Angeles Lakers 105-101 with Giannis coming up with big defensive plays in the final minutes with the game tied on 101.
Giannis first blocked LeBron James’ shot attempt with 39.2 seconds left in the game that led to the Bucks scoring on the ensuing possession for the lead.
The Greek superstar then produced a turnover via a steal on LeBron James to take away the Lakers chance to score a potential game tying shot.
After the game, Giannis collected LeBron James’ jersey and relished the moment as the 41 year old Lakers star inches close to retirement.

“You never know. Might be our last game against one another. I have the utmost respect for him and his family and the way he’s carried himself for 23 years” Giannis said after the jersey exchange with LeBron James according to ESPN and added that,

“Down the stretch, I just wanted to take the challenge. Because you knew that he [LeBron James]’s going to make a play. He’s not going to pass it and it worked out in my favor.”

In 31 minutes, Giannis registered 21 points, five assists and six rebounds against the Lakers.
