Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha has credited manager Luis Enrique for his development into a world-class player, highlighting the Spaniard’s influence.
Speaking ahead of PSG’s first-leg semi-final tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, April 28, in Paris, Vitinha was full of praise for Enrique’s tactical approach and man-management.
PSG, the defending UEFA Champions League champions, have been dominant en route to the last four, eliminating Chelsea FC 8-2 on aggregate before cruising past Liverpool FC 4-0.
The French side is now aiming to reach the Champions League final for a second consecutive season, and Vitinha believes Enrique is the right man to lead that charge.
“Beyond his tactical and technical qualities as a coach, he’s a fantastic person, and I feel at ease with him. He’s a very natural and down-to-earth person, who’s very honest with you.”

“I feel fully fulfilled playing under Luis Enrique. The truth is, we’re all very happy” Vitinha said.

Coming off a Top 10 Ballon d’Or nomination, Vitinha has delivered another strong performance in the 2025/2026 season, registering seven goals and 10 assists in 45 games in all competitions.
