Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is unsure about his future with the team following the Lakers elimination from the 2025-2026 NBA Playoffs.
The Lakers got swept by the defending NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder after losing four straight games in the best of seven games series.
In the series deciding Game 4, the Lakers lost 115-110 with 41 year old LeBron registered 24 points and 12 rebounds in 40 minutes in front of a star-studded courtside.
The four time NBA Champions’ contract with the Lakers runs out at the end of this season but is yet to decide what is next in his career after dealing with a testing relationship with the team in this campaign.

“With my future, I don’t know, honestly. It’s, obviously it’s still fresh from, obviously losing [the series] and I don’t know. I don’t know what the future holds for me.”

“Obviously we fell a little short, but I’m not looking at my year as a disappointment, that’s for damn sure” LeBron said to reporters after the loss.
