Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team goalkeeper Benjamin Asare turned 33 years old on Monday, July 13 and his club Accra Hearts of Oak celebrated the new chapter in the Black Stars player’s life.
Asare’s birthday comes on the back of competing at the FIFA World Cup for the first time where he starred in Ghana’s campaign in this year’s World Cup.
The former Accra Great Olympics player has touched down in Ghana after starting in two games at the 2026 FIFA World Cup against England and Croatia. (Scroll down to watch video)

In celebrating the 33 year old Asare, Hearts of Oak wrote on their X (formerly Twitter) page that,

“Happy Birthday to the man between the sticks. Hearts of Oak and Ghana Black Stars No.1. Our last line of defense. A World Cup guardian. More saves, more glory, more greatness.”
