Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has completed his second loan move in the 2022-2023 football season.

The 25 year old has joined Saudi Arabia Professional League side Al-Batin until the end of the season in a move that has an option to buy included.

This is Salifu’s second loan stint after completing a temporary deal to Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol where he played 21 while starting in 15 of those games in all competitions.

The highlight moment of his run in Moldova was a two legged tie in the Europa League against English giant Manchester United. Sheriff lost 0-5 on aggregate.

Mudasiru featured as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder and attacking midfielder for the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League campaigners.

Salifu enjoyed instant success with Kotoko helping the Porcupine Warriors win the Ghana Premier League. He scored two goals in 57 appearances for Kotoko.

Al-Batin ranks bottom of the 16 team league standings with just a draw in 11 games and is on a five game losing streak.
