Ghana Black Stars defender Kasim Nuhu Adams has joined Swiss football club, FC Servette after leaving fellow Swiss side FC Basel.
The deal is a one year contract that is set to end on August 30, 2024 with an option to extend for another year; Servette recently lost 3-2 on aggregate to Chelsea in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The Ghanaian international is Servette’s fifth signing in the main transfer window and is looking to continue the fine form he showed at Basel after his improved play.
At the time of writing, a work permit and residence permit is still a prerequisite for Adams’ deal to be completed.
The 29 year old will play in the Swiss league for the third time after having spells at Young Boys and FC Basel where he has spent a combined period of two seasons.
Despite enduring a frustrating 2023-2024 season at TSG Hoffenheim, Adams played 46 times for Basel where he scored three goals and added an assist.
