Ghana super middleweight boxer Sena Agbeko will mark his return to the ring on Saturday, August 17 with a scheduled bout against Cuban fighter Osleys Iglesias.

The super middleweight contest will take place at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City in Canada with the 32 year old Agbeko set up against the 26 year old Cuban boxer who fights from the southpaw stance.

The upcoming fight is Agbeko’s first this year and the first for the African Assassin since losing to highly rated Cuban fighter David Morrell in Minnesota.

Agbeko suffered a second round knockout after getting hit with a barrage of punches prompting referee Mark Nelson to stop the fight. Earlier in the round, Agbeko got caught with a left hook that staggered him.

Iglesias goes into the bout with 11 wins including 10 by way of knockout while Sena has 28 wins and three losses in his career.

In an exclusive interview with ChannelOne Sports, Agbeko spoke extensively on boxing related matters including sharing his thoughts on issues affecting boxing in Ghana. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
