Black Stars legend Stephen Appiah has cautioned the Black Stars against complacency ahead of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team’s game against Madagascar.

Ghana take on Madagascar in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Morocco on Monday, March 24 at 19:00 GMT in  game that involves Group I’s leaders (Ghana) against the second ranked nation, Madagascar.

Speaking at a Black Stars dinner, Appiah and fellow Black Stars legend Asamoah Gyan, motivated the players ahead of the big tie with Appiah stating that Ghana’s 5-0 win over Chad is sure to be different against Madagascar. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“The game that you played against Chad will be different from the game that you are going to play [against Madagascar] because they have a different style of play, they will come with a different strength so it’s not going to be the same so you people should tune your mind towards the game [against Madagascar]” Appiah said.
