Golden Kick FC have made history by qualifying to their first-ever MTN FA Cup Final appearance. The Access Bank Division One side, based in Accra, beat fellow Access Bank Division One club Attram De Visser SC 3–1 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The opening goal came in the 16th minute when Attram De Visser’s goalkeeper Dawuud Ishaque miscued an awkward looking ball into his own net.
Golden Kick doubled their lead just seven minutes later through a calm finish from David Amuzu. Early in the second half, substitute Bless Ege fired home a third to put the game beyond doubt.
Attram De Visser, who had knocked out giants Hearts of Oak in the quarterfinals, managed a late consolation in the 87th minute courtesy of Precious Yaw Gyimah.
With this result, Golden Kick become only the third second-tier club to reach the FA Cup final since FC Nania’s famous run in 2011, joining the ranks of Okwahu United (2016) and Bofoakwa Tano (2021).
