Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, is eager to end Kotoko’s wait to win the MTN FA Cup.

In the lead up to Kotoko’s semifinal game against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, May 11 at 18:00 GMT at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa, the veteran trainer highlighted the need for Kotoko win the title since it has been a while the Porcupine Warriors lifted the trophy.

Kotoko won the competition in 2014 via a win over Inter Allies and did same in 2017 thanks to a 3-1 win over Accra Hearts of Oak but Kotoko have failed to make it to the final since.

“I know what it [winning the trophy] can do for you as a coach. It’s been long since we won one of the cups, I think we are all eager to win and I know it will not be easy for us, it will be very difficult.”
