Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has praised the performance of his team in the second half in its game against Nigeria in the Unity Cup.
Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team lost 2-1 to arch rivals Nigeria in the 2025 Unity Cup that was played at the G-Tech Community Stadium in England on Wednesday, May 28.
A Cyril Dessers finish and an own goal from Razak Simpson put Nigeria 2-0 ahead at half time but Brandon Thomas-Asante pulled one back for Ghana in the second half.
Speaking in the post-game presser after losing another friendly game to Nigeria, Otto Addo stated that he was happy with the improvement from his team in the second half.
“The second half was really good I have to say. Though we lost, I’m happy about the second half, we saw some talents…we saw some players really be positive and I’m looking forward to see them again” Addo said.
