The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Division One League side Golden Kick FC and their head coach, Nii Parker Hanson, for separate breaches of regulations following incidents during and after the 2025 MTN FA Cup final against Asante Kotoko.
Head coach Nii Parker Hanson faces a charge for misconduct over his post-match comments, which allegedly brought the game into disrepute.
According to the GFA, his remarks about the match officials were deemed inappropriate and in violation of the Division One League Regulations.

He has until Wednesday, June 18, 2025, to respond to the charge.
In a separate decision, Golden Kick FC as a club has also been charged for multiple offences under the GFA Disciplinary Code and Division One League Regulations.
The charges include allegations that some supporters of the club threw objects onto the pitch during the match and that the club made social media comments targeting match officials — actions which the GFA says tarnish the image of the competition.
Golden Kick FC have similarly been given until Wednesday, June 18, 2025, to submit their response to the charges.
The FA Cup final, held at the Legon Stadium, ended in a 2-1 victory for Asante Kotoko, securing their record-extending 10th title and a return to continental football in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
