Promoter of Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, has stated that the British boxer is eager to get back in the ring and continue his career.
Joshua last fought on September 24, 2024 at Wembley Stadium in London in a bout that ended in a knockout loss to fellow British fighter Daniel Dubois.
The multi belt heavyweight champion Joshua has been spotted in videos working out intensively suggesting a sooner than expected return to the ring and Hearn has given the biggest indication this would happen.
“He [Anthony Joshua]’s excited to get active. There could be a possibility [he fight this year]. The original plan was one fight and then Tyson Fury but maybe he will have a couple.”

“Camp has started. You’re going to see AJ back in the ring very soon” Hearn said to IFL TV.

Hearn’s latest comments on Joshua’s activity come in the wake of Hearn’s statement about a possible fight for Anthony Joshua in Ghana. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
