YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul says fighting Anthony Joshua is the craziest thing he has done as he prepares to take on his toughest opponent in his young professional boxing career.
He said this ahead of the heavyweight bout that is scheduled to take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday, December 19 (Saturday, December 20 at 3:30 Ghana Time).
The bout is sanctioned as a professional fight that is scheduled to run for eight rounds; as part of teh rules for the bout, Joshua shouldn’t weigh over 245 pounds.
At the official weigh-in, Jake Paul was clocked at 216.4 pounds while Joshua weighed in at 243 pounds and Paul believes this is the biggest challenge he has taken.
“This is the hardest opponent, hardest challenge, most crazy thing I’ve ever done in my career” before throwing serious jabs at detractors of the fight stating,

“Who even are these boxing purists? How pure are they? Do they go to church or something?.”

This is Joshua’s first bout since getting knocked out in his loss to Daniel Dubois in 2024.
