Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua says he isn’t worried about people questioning the integrity side of his bout with Jake Paul. Joshua is expected to earn at least $30 million from the bout.
Joshua made the dismissive comment while speaking ahead of the bout that takes place at the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19 (December 20 at 3:30 AM Ghana Time).
Many have questioned the authenticity of the bout considering Jake Paul is a Youtuber turned boxer who will be fighting an active boxer for the first time.
On his part, Paul did admit that fighting Joshua was the craziest thing he had done in his career. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
He has fought retired boxers in exhibition fights including former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in 2024 and despite personalities like Deontay Wilder saying the fight is scripted, Joshua isn’t worried about such sentiments. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I’m not worried about what people think about the integrity side, I’m more worried about are they talking? That’s the whole point of this fight. It creates conversation” Joshua said.

Joshua is reportedly eyeing a fight with Tyson Fury in 2026 after the bout.
