Boxers from PKO Boxing Promotions delivered a dominant display at the 1957 Boxing Night, recording a series of knockout victories at the Koforidua Total 2 venue on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

The event, promoted by SP Sports Promotions and PKO Boxing Promotions with support from T2 Bar & Grill, lived up to expectations as fans were treated to explosive bouts and dramatic finishes throughout the night.

Leading the charge for PKO were six rising fighters who all secured emphatic knockout wins in their respective contests. John Eshun, Prince Kamaldeen, Godfred Amu Brown, Ebenezer Kolebe, Benedict Baddoo and Elisha Nterbigma all stopped their opponents, highlighting the depth of talent within the PKO stable.

Kamaldeen delivered a commanding performance in the cruiserweight division, overpowering Richard Ashong before forcing a stoppage. In the bantamweight contest, Kolebe dominated Jacob Ankrah to secure another knockout victory.

Baddoo also impressed in the light-heavyweight division with a stoppage win over David Okai, while Amu Brown showcased his punching power in the middleweight bout against Isaac Quartey.

Fans were further thrilled when Nterbigma stopped Martin Ahiadekey in their super-featherweight clash, with Eshun completing the night’s sweep with another decisive knockout victory.

Elsewhere on the card, George Faho Mensah produced a clinical performance to knock out Kofi Manu in their welterweight bout.

In the main event, Charles Tetteh capped off the night in style by defeating Nigeria’s Lukman Akinolugbade after knocking him down in their super-featherweight contest.

The bouts were sanctioned by the Ghana Boxing Authority through its Ghana Boxing Independent Matchmaking Committee (GBIMC), chaired by Samir Captan with boxing legend Azumah Nelson serving as vice chairman.

With multiple knockouts and commanding performances across the card, the 1957 Boxing Night reinforced PKO Boxing Promotions’ growing reputation for nurturing powerful and exciting fighters within Ghana’s boxing scene.
