Boxing for the first time since losing back to back fights against Oleksandr Usyk, British heavyweight fighter Tyson Fury scored a dominant win over Russian opponent Arslanbek Makhmudov.
The heavyweight bout that served as the main event at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium alongside welterweight Conor Benn’s win against Regis Prograis also marked Fury’s return to the ring from a 15 month long retirement.
The former heavyweight champion landed clean punches throughout the fight despite showing clear signs of rust en route to victory.
Judges on the night scored the bout 120-108,120-108 and 119-109 in favour of Fury who quickly turned his attention to fellow former British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua who witnessed the bout and challenged him to a fight.

“I challenge you Anthony Joshua to fight me next. Do you accept? You-Anthony Joshua-are next. You are getting knocked out believe it” Fury said.

The fight marked the 10th time in Fury’s career that he scored a points victory over his opponent; his record now stands at 35 wins, two losses and a draw.
