A total of 16 Arsenal players will represent their countries at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the highest of any club at the tournament, after the Gunners won the 2025/26 Premier League title under Mikel Arteta.
Five players earned places in England’s squad, including star winger Bukayo Saka, midfielder Declan Rice, winger Noni Madueke, teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri, and attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Saka once again proved decisive for Arsenal this season, contributing 18 goals and 14 assists across all competitions despite injury setbacks.
Rice remained the heartbeat of Mikel Arteta’s midfield with 9 goals and 11 assists, while Eze enjoyed a brilliant campaign after his arrival, adding creativity and goals in the final third.
Madueke’s pace and direct play strengthened Arsenal’s attacking depth, while Nwaneri emerged as one of Europe’s brightest young talents.

Brazil will rely on Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhães as they chase a sixth World Cup title. Martinelli registered 15 goals and 9 assists this season, offering explosive pace and pressing ability, while Gabriel continued to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s most dominant central defenders.

Spain’s squad includes goalkeeper David Raya, midfielder Mikel Merino, and new signing Martín Zubimendi. Raya kept 18 clean sheets during the campaign and remains vital with his composure in possession, while Merino and Zubimendi provide technical quality and control in midfield.

Sweden striker Viktor Gyökeres heads to the tournament after a prolific season in front of goal, scoring more than 30 goals for club and country combined. His physicality and finishing are expected to be central to Sweden’s hopes.

Belgium winger Leandro Trossard earned another major tournament call-up after contributing crucial goals and assists for Arsenal throughout the season, while Jurriën Timber returns to the Netherlands squad following an impressive comeback campaign after injury.
