Belgium born Ghanaian winger Jesse Eugene Bisiwu’s dream of landing a move to Spanish giants FC Barcelona is on hold after the club’s offer to Club Brugge got rejected by the Belgian club.

18 year old Bisiwu who plays for Brugge’s junior side in the NXT League is one of the highly rated young wingers in Europe who has caught the attention of top clubs including Barcelona.

The Spanish club according to Diario Sport offered nine million euros to Brugge to sign Bisiwu but that offer was rejected with the reigning Spanish League Champions reportedly set to improve their offer that should include a significant sell-on fee for Brugge.

Bissiwu, who turns 19 in January next year and is already 6 feet tall, is highly rated for his dribbling skills and starred in Belgium’s Under 17 semifinal at the 2025 Under 17 European Championship.

He was named in the Team of the Tournament after Belgium made it to the semifinals. Bisiwu is yet to feature for Belgium’s National Team at the senior level at the time of writing and is eligible to play for Ghana.
