The Oklahoma City Thunder etched their name in the NBA history books Wednesday night, dismantling the Sacramento Kings 121-105 to become the first team this season to reach 60 wins.

With their seventh straight victory in the bag, the Thunder (60-12) underscored why they’re the league’s gold standard as the regular season winds down.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting, adding seven assists and a cool-headed mastery that’s fueling his MVP case.

The All-Star guard wasted no time, slicing through Sacramento’s defense in the first quarter to spark a 15-2 run that set the tone. By halftime, OKC’s lead ballooned to 24, thanks to a barrage of threes from Chet Holmgren (15 points) and Jalen Williams (18 points), who combined to shoot 5-of-8 from deep.

The Kings (36-36) didn’t go quietly. Keegan Murray erupted for a career-high 28 points, including nine three-pointers, igniting a third-quarter rally that trimmed the deficit to eight. But the Thunder’s depth proved too much. Gilgeous-Alexander answered with a silky step-back jumper in the fourth, and OKC’s bench—outscoring Sacramento’s 42-26—slammed the door shut.

This isn’t just another win for Oklahoma City. The 60-12 mark is the fastest the franchise has ever hit that milestone, surpassing even the Kevin Durant-Russell Westbrook era.

With 46 double-digit wins this season, they’re tied with the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors and 1996-97 Chicago Bulls for the fourth-most in NBA history. Only 10 games remain, and the Thunder are locked in.
