Everton FC manager David Moyes delivered a blunt response to a bizarre red card his team suffered in a shock win over Manchester United.
In a 1-0 win over Man United at Old Trafford, Everton played almost the entire game with 10 men after midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye picked up a red card for striking his teammate Michael Keane in a heated argument.
The pair clashed after a defensive breakdown almost led to a Man United goal in the 13th minute. However, 16 minutes later, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a beautiful goal with his weaker right foot that proved to be the difference in the game.
Speaking after the game to Sky Sports, David Moyes was delighted to get the winner over one of his former clubs and added that he is okay with his players getting annoyed with each other and fighting each other.

“We don’t see it very often.I thought the referee could’ve maybe taken a bit longer to think about it…but there is another side to it. I quite like my players fighting each other and getting annoyed with each other.”

“I’m disappointed we got the sending off but every player will tell you how angry they get with their team-mates. He- Gana Gueye-has apologised in the dressing room for the sending off, praised the players endlessly for their performance tonight and thanked them for it” David Moyes said.

On his part, Man United head coach Ruben Amorim said he was frustrated with the result. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
