For the third time in the history of the MLS (Major League Soccer), a team recovered from a 3-0 deficit to clinch a win and the latest team to pull off such a brilliant feat was Orlando City who rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 4-3.
The stunning win had the defending MLS champions, Inter Miami, reeling after storming to a brilliant start with Messi scoring and providing an assist.
However, Tyrese Spicer’s goal in the 93rd minute, on the back of Martin Ojeda’s hat-trick of goals, gave Orlando the win.
After scoring the game’s first goal, Miami defender Ian Fray, was incensed by the result and the referee.

“We just fell apart and that can’t happen again. I think this referee has something against maybe some of the players on this team. It’s as simple as that.”

“We shouldn’t have lost regardless of the referee. I’m not trying to make an excuse at all. You should never lose a game up 3-0” Fray said to reporters.
