Ghana Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew continues to be the subject of a transfer interest from Leicester City on the verge of the commencement of the 2024-2025 English Premier League season.

Leicester City have submitted a four million pound transfer bid for the veteran player who has entered into the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace.

This is according to Richard Cawley of the South London Press whose reported transfer figure for Ayew pales in comparison to the 10 million pound tag Palace have placed on Ayew.

Ayew worked with Leicester manager Steve Cooper at Swansea City and the pair’s previous stint is seen as the main reason behind Leicester’s pursuit of the former Aston Villa man.

Fellow UK based journalist Alan Nixon has reported that Ayew is also the subject of interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Jordan Ayew’s time at Crystal Palace is up in the air following the arrival of Senegal international Ismaila Sarr from Olympique Marseille.

Earlier in the offseason, Palace lost Michael Olise to Bayern Munich.
