Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has welcomed the international break after a difficult week for the club.
The Blues were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League following an 8-2 aggregate loss to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and then suffered a 3-0 defeat to Everton in the English Premier League.
Everton’s goals came from a brace by Beto and a stunning finish from Illiman Ndiaye at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, compounding Chelsea’s frustrations.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the loss, Rosenior admitted he is still learning in his role after taking over as Chelsea coach earlier this year.
“I’m learning about this club. It’s a massive club. There’s been a lot of noise, a lot of negative noise, rightfully so.”

“We have to keep our confidence and our composure. The international break has probably come at a good time for us to restock, reenergise ourselves and go again for a really important run-in. For me, I don’t think there’s a lack of effort. I don’t think there’s a lack of belief or determination in the team” Rosenior said.
