Match week 4 of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League produced a mix of decisive victories and tightly contested draws as teams continued their quest for valuable points in the 2026 season.

The matches were played on Thursday, 5th March 2026 at the University of Ghana Stadium and the warm-up pitch. The round featured several strong defensive performances, while a few teams capitalised on early chances to secure all three points.

In Group A, Lancaster Accra FC secured a strong 2–0 victory over the University of Ghana team. Lancaster made a fast start, with their number 9 Prince Adu-Fosu scoring in the 1st minute before number 11, Stephen Adjei, added a second goal in the 10th minute. After the early goals, Lancaster maintained a disciplined approach for the rest of the match to comfortably hold on and seal the win.

The second game in Group A saw the Ghana Football Association (GFA) side record a solid 2–0 victory over Bui Power Authority. GFA opened the scoring in the 18th minute when jersey number 9, Joseph Tetteh Zuta, found the back of the net to give his side the lead. In the second half, jersey number 11, Eric Donkor, extended the advantage with a well-taken goal in the 26th minute. After going two goals up, GFA adopted a disciplined defensive approach to control the remainder of the match and secure the victory, keeping them firmly in the race as the group stage intensifies.

Two matches in the group ended without goals. Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and Stanbic Bank Ghana battled to a 0–0 draw in a match dominated by organised defending from both sides. Similarly, Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club (GAFOSC) and GOIL could not find a breakthrough as their encounter also ended goalless.

In the final Group A fixture, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority secured a narrow but important 1–0 victory over Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, with Gideon Kamassah scoring the decisive goal for Aviation. A disciplined performance from GCAA helped them protect their lead and claim all three points.

Group B fixtures also produced competitive encounters. Ghana Airports Company Limited   and the National Communications Authority NPA played out a 1–1 draw in a balanced contest where both sides showed moments of attacking promise. NCA’s goal came from Kwame Tetteh, who wears the number 28 jersey.

Union Ghana defeated Telecel Ghana 2–0 with a composed performance at both ends of the pitch. Kofi Bonya, wearing jersey number 29, scored the opening goal in the 20th minute and added the second in the 29th minute to secure the win.

BOST Energies also recorded a convincing 2–0 victory over Zenith Bank, demonstrating strong attacking play to secure maximum points. BOST’s goals came from jersey number 11 Mepong Shadrack in the 8th minute, while Mohammed Mubarik, wearing jersey number 5, added the second goal later in the match.

In another closely contested game, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) edged Wilmar Africa 1–0. The winning goal for NPA was scored by Herbert O. Ampong, who wears the number 8 jersey.

The final match in the group saw LEB Sports Community and the Forestry Commission of Ghana share the spoils in a 1–1 draw. Ali Termee scored for LEB Sports Community, while Augustine Osie, wearing jersey number 10, equalised for the Forestry Commission side.

With four rounds of matches completed, the University of Ghana Corporate Football League continues to deliver exciting and competitive football. As the group stage progresses, teams will be eager to build momentum and secure crucial points in the race for qualification to the next phase of the competition.
