CAA Championships: I’m looking forward to defending my title- Tobi Amusan [VIDEO]

Women’s world 110 metre hurdles record holder Tobi Amusan says she is looking forward to defend her title at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championship.

This year’s competition is taking place at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra, Ghana and is scheduled to conclude on May 17.

Speaking after winning her heat to qualify to the next round, the Nigerian great said she was proud representing her country once again on the international stage ahead of the final slated for Wednesday, May 13 where she will run against training mate Evonne Britton of Ghana.

“I’m just thankful to be here representing my country every opportunity I get to step on the line and I’m looking forward to defend my title. It’s an amazing atmosphere, Ghana is always welcoming and I’m just excited to be here” she said.
