Sporting Director of SMAC Football Academy, Kwadwo Asamoah, says he is urging his players to maintain consistency as they push for Division Two qualification.
Asamoah, a former Juventus FC and Black Stars midfielder, noted that he continues to push the players to maintain high performance levels as they chase promotion. He made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Citi FM’s Godfred Akoto Boafo ahead of the 2025/2026 Accra East District Middle League final on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

“So far, we are very proud of them. We have seen significant development, every game that they playe we see an improvement. Not just as a team but the individual players too and I believe that with consistency, they will be able to qualify for Division Two. Even if we qualify to Division two there is still a lot of work to be done. I keep encouraging the boys to stay focused because the more they progress the more difficult the process becomes,” he said.
