2025 AFCONQ: Will make sure Sudan get a win over Ghana- James Kwasi Appiah

Sudan’s National Men’s Football Team head coach James Kwasi Appiah has assured fans of the team that his team will beat Ghana on Monday, October 14.

The upcoming game is a 2025 AFCON tie set to take place in Benghazi, Libya on the back of a goalless draw between the two teams in Accra on Thursday, October 10.

Sudan survived a dominant performance by Ghana in the second half punctuated by several missed chances by the Black Stars. Ghana head coach Otto Addo stated that Sudan got lucky. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

In an interview with Sudan media, the former head coach of the Black Stars assured fans of Sudan of a win over Ghana in Libya.

“We played against Ghana; yeah it was a difficult game but we managed to fight and get a draw. We are now going to play the return leg in Benghazi, it’s not going to be easy but Insha Allah, we are going to fight and make sure we get a victory for Sudan.”
