Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo is lamenting over AFC Bournemouth’s latest draw in the 2024-2025 EPL campaign after The Cherries drew 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The latest draw had Bournemouth storm back from trailing a Cole Palmer to get a 2-1 lead in the second half courtesy a brilliant strike from Semenyo.

Chelsea substitute Reece James scored a late free kick to give The Blues an equalizer and after missing out on a win, Semenyo rued the missed opportunity.

“We defended for our lives at times and I feel that we should have got three points. I think we should have got something from the home game against Chelsea and we could’ve got three points here, but we take the point and move onto the next one.”

Semenyo scored his sixth goal in 20 league games this season via his strike at Stamford Bridge.

He scored his first goal in the FA Cup in Bournemouth colours in The Cherries 5-1 win over West Bromwich Albion prior to the Chelsea game.
