Nashville lost 1-0 at home to Tigres from Mexico ahead of the return leg on Wednesday, May 6, which takes place in Mexico. Former Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa scored the winner.

Major League Soccer (MLS) side Nashville qualified for the semis after drawing goalless with Mexico’s Club America at home, but registered a 1-0 win in Mexico.

24-year-old Woledzi, whose string of impressive performances since joining the club has generated calls for him to be called to the Black Stars, played out the entire duration of the game and led the team with 96.6% passing accuracy.

“We actually know it’s going to be a difficult game. We’ve seen the result and…we just have to prepare ourselves.”

“We know the goal difference; it’s only one goal. One goal in a football game is nothing so…we [need to] make sure that we get a goal there and game on” Woledzi said.
