However, beyond Trump, the closely contested game that had the San Antonio Spurs beat New York Knicks 115-111, generated a lot of conversations after a video of a Spurs fan getting attacked by Knicks fans went viral.
The Spurs fan who was wearing the jersey of San Antonio and NBA legend Tim Duncan, was heckled by some Knicks fans before the situation turned violent as the Spurs fan was attacked by a mob. (Scroll down to watch video)
Reacting to the news, Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama condemned the attack and called for fans to respect each other.

“My thoughts, of course, is that we can’t forget it’s a game. We’re just playing a game out there and I am all for passion… it’s unacceptable. We want everyone to respect each other.”

“We want everyone to enjoy basketball at its pure state. I mean, it’s the NBA Finals. There’s no better place to watch basketball. So leave the physicality to everyone on the court” Wembanyama said.

Game 4 is on Thursday, June 11 in New York.
