FC Barcelona’s brilliant start to the 2026-2027 season continued as the club extended its winning streak to 10 out of 10 games after beating Turkish side Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul in the UEFA Champions League.
Joao Cancelo, Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi and Fermin Lopez scored in the big win at the hostile ground that maintained Barcelona’s flawless campaign so far.
Despite not scoring in the win, Spanish winger Lamine Yamal bagged two assists en route to winning the Man of the Match Award.
Yamal delivered one of the highlight moments of the game when he feigned to pull off a rabona before shifting the ball to deliver a cross for Anthony Gordon to score. (Scroll down to watch video)
After his latest feat, the 19 year old has registered eight goals and nine assists in 10 games in all competitions this season and Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick praised Yamal after beating Galatasaray.

“We’re very happy with the result. We also played well in the first half. They had one chance and they scored. We managed to come back and that was very important.”

“In this stadium, with this atmosphere, it wasn’t easy. Lamine didn’t score today, but he did provide the final pass for two goals. He’s an incredible player and very important for us” Flick said to Movistar.
