Manchester United face the threat of relegation from the Premier League if their poor run continues, with the club currently sitting 17th in the standings.
The Red Devils are without a win in nine matches across all competitions, including six consecutive league games. Michael Carrick’s side have suffered back-to-back defeats, losing 3-0 to Bournemouth and 2-0 to Chelsea.
According to statistical platform Opta, United have a 22.96% chance of being relegated to the EFL Championship. Only Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are ranked below United in the league standings.
Despite their position, United’s relegation risk is lower than that of Coventry City (37.2%), Hull City (29.5%) and Ipswich Town (24.52%), according to the projections.

Manchester United take on Italian side AS Roma next in the UEFA Champions League.
