The eagerly awaited tournament, slated for December next year, will be held in Morocco, which qualifies automatically as the host nation.

It promises an exciting blend of established giants and rising teams ready to make an impact on the continental stage.

Morocco will be joined by several past champions, including Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, and defending titleholders Côte d’Ivoire, who all impressed during the qualifiers. Iconic teams like Nigeria, Tunisia, and South Africa also earned their places, ensuring a strong representation of African football heavyweights.

The qualifiers saw notable returns for nations such as DR Congo, Angola, and Gabon, while Botswana’s qualification after a long absence reflects the growing competitiveness of African football.

Sudan and Benin clinched their places on the final day of qualifying, rounding out the list.

Earlier, Zambia, Mali, Zimbabwe, and Comoros secured their spots, adding to the mix of regular contenders and emerging teams.

Equatorial Guinea and Uganda, known for their determined performances in past editions, are also set to compete in Morocco.
