Ghana Cycling Federation Public Relations Officer, Dennis Moore, has shared that he is interested to see new Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, collaborate with heads of sports federations.
He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after Yaw Ampofo Ankrah’s appointment as the new head of the sports body was confirmed.
He takes over from Seth Panwum who served as the Acting Director-General of the NSA following Dodzie Numekevor’s sacking.
Dennis Moore dismissed the notion some stakeholders have about sports journalist Yaw Ampofo Ankrah’s NSA appointment to a position several technocrats have held over the years and added that (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“One of the major obstacles at the NSA is the funding or support for the less financed sports especially when they are about to travel for tournaments be it local or international and then also the support for local competitions. I will be expecting him to corporate a lot with the federation presidents.”

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah has served as President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association for several years.
