This development makes Nuamah the third Black Stars player to suffer an ACL injury in the 2024-2025 campaign with fellow winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and defender Alidu Seidu suffering the same fate.
Leicester City’s Fatawu Issahaku suffered the knee injury in Ghana’s 1-1 draw with Angola in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers in Luanda in November, 2024.

Alidu Seidu of Stade Rennes suffered an ACL injury on November 25, 2024 in a French Ligue tie against Lille. Issahaku and Seidu have been ruled out of competing in the 2024-2025 campaign.

Prior to his injury, Nuamah had six goals and two assists in 33 games in all competitions and scored in Ghana’s 5-0 win over Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
