Woledzi played a key role as Nashville SC eliminated Mexico’s Club América 1–0 on aggregate across two legs. The decisive result included a historic 1–0 away win at the Estadio Azteca, making Nashville the first Major League Soccer side to win there.
The 24-year-old delivered an assured defensive performance over both legs, completing 130 passes and making two interceptions to help secure qualification.
Since joining from Norwegian side Fredrikstad FK in early 2026, Woledzi has strengthened his reputation significantly and is now being viewed as a strong contender for Ghana’s squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with the Ghana national football team.

He was one of three Nashville players to make the Champions Cup Best XI alongside teammates Jeisson Palacios and Hany Mukhtar, which also included 2018 World Cup winner and former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
