The NBA offseason has been hit with the biggest player trade yet after the Milwaukee Bucks traded superstar power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks traded Giannis to the Miami Heat for a hefty package that included five draft picks and four players including Tyler Herro and Kel’el Ware.
Bobby Portis was also included in the trade that sent Giannis to the Miami Heat ending Greece international Antetokoumpo’s 13 year run with the team he led to win the 2021 NBA title.
During this time, the 31 year old won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year title, the NBA Most Valuable Player of the Year Award twice and was named as an NBA All-Star 10 times.
The trade immediately boosts Miami Heat’s chances of winning the Eastern Conference after failing to qualify to the immediate past playoffs.

By acquiring Antetokounmpo, the Heat’s roster now has multiple All Star Bam Adebayo, former NBA champion Andrew Wiggins and 2019 NBA champion Norman Powell.

Reacting to the trade, Giannis Antetokounmpo stated, “God I trusted you at the beginning, and I will continue to trust you throughout.”
