A member on Bayern Munich’s board has stated that Bayern player Jamal Musiala is doing okay after the German international collapsed in a game. (Scroll down to watch video)
Close to the end of a pre-season game between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig this past weekend, Musiala collapsed before he was attended to by the club’s medical crew.
He was spotted walking down the tunnel on his own after the incident according to news agency DPA in a contest that was played in warm conditions as Europe continues to battle with a serious heat wave.
According to the Bayern Munich board member who spoke on condition of anonymity on Musiala’s condition, “The main thing is that he’s OK”.
Many observers have pointed to warm conditions, with the temperature hitting 33 degrees Celsius during the game, as the reason for Musiala’s collapse.
