Black Starlets winger Luke Martey says his main objective is to do great things with Ghana’s National Men’s Under 17 Football Team. (Scroll down to watch full video)
The youth team player for Major League Soccer (MLS) side FC Dallas said this in an interview on Citi FM’s Sports Panorama while sharing his experience competing with the Black Starlets ahead of the team’s participation in the CAF AFCON Under-17 competition later this year.

“Personal objective, just go there-the AFCON-shine, do my best with the team. Getting integrated with the team and just doing great things with them, I think, that’s the most important thing for me” Martey said.

He added that he looks up to African football legend Asamoah Gyan; Gyan is Ghana’s all time leading goal scorer at the senior level.
