Ghana winger Osman Bukari has officially bid goodbye to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC after joining Polish side Widzew Lodz.
The Black Stars player joined Lodz on a four and a half year deal that is expected to end in 2030 with the aim to get the club competing for qualification to European competition.
The move ended Bukari’s near two year run with Austin FC that had him play 50 games and register six goals and eight assists for teh club.
Bukari, who turned 27 on December 13, was reportedly bought for a Polish League record five million euros and Board Member of Lodz shared how pleased the club was to have Bukari.
“Osman Bukari is a player with a lot of quality that will help the team achieve its goals.”

“These remain unchanged – we want to compete with the best and, over time, consistently fight for top league positions and the opportunity to play in Europe.”

“It’s no secret that a player of this level was scouted by many clubs across Europe, including us” he said via a club statement.

On his part, Bukari stated that he was looking forward to the latest chapter in his career and took time to thank Austin FC with a video post on his X (former Twitter) page. Scroll down to watch video
